      Pil-Pil style Argentine prawn



Shell the prawns (only the body; leave the head)

Remove the gut (on the top of the body, make a small cut and remove the very fine, dark thread). Set aside.

Add oil to a clay dish and heat. Once hot, add the chopped garlic, hot peppers and sauté over medium heat until golden. Add the fish stock and bring to a boil. Allow to reduce 15 minutes.

Add the cleaned prawns and cook for a few minutes. Turn them over and leave them a few minutes more.

Serve very hot, while still bubbling ("pil-pil").

INGREDIENTS (for 2 people)

              20gr olive oil
              300ml fish stock
              3 or 4 cloves of garlic
              2 cayenne peppers or bits of chilli
              10 ó 12 prawns
